Thank you for welcoming a new placement into your home from the DCS Welcome Center. We know that your first few days and weeks with a new foster care placement can be complicated. We want to help.
Download our cute welcome sign and customize with your placement’s name. The electronic file has a field to type a name or get creative and handwrite the name after printing!
Fourteen foster care support organizations across the state have created “Welcome to our Home,” special offers for families who take new placements.
This One4All effort is our way of saying thank you, and supporting you in stepping up and stepping in to empty the placement centers and welcome a new child into your home. Whether you’re a licensed foster parent or kinship caregiver, if this is your first placement or your 10th, we appreciate and applaud your commitment.
